For over 20 years, Roy Ionson, introduced horse owners across Canada to Continental Saddlery.

Roy wasn't just a tack shop owner.  He was a horseman through and through. He trained horses, showed horses, bought and sold horses, helped establish horse associations across Ontario, and spent decades helping riders find the right equipment for both themselves and their horses.  He believed in Continental Saddlery because he believed in quality, craftmanship, and saddles that stood the test of time.

When Roy retired we were honoured to continue that legacy as Canada's authorized Continental Saddlery dealer located in Chatsworth, Ontario.

Today we work directly with Continental Saddlery to help riders create a saddle that is built specifically for both horse and rider.  

Every Continental saddle is individually handcrafted - not pulled from a warehouse shelf. Tree size, seat size, leather, tooling, seat material, and countless other details are carefully selected to build a saddle that fits your needs while providing comfort for your horse.

Just as importantly, Continental stands behind every saddle they build. They use quality materials, experienced craftmanship, and take pride in building quality saddles that last for years of every day use. 

Our role doesn't end when you saddle arrives.

We will answer your questions.  Make sure both you and your horse are comfortable.  Because a beautiful saddle isn't enough - it has to work.
